Biralagro Bio Energy Farmer Producercompany Limited

We are set up over at Akhilesh Kushawa’s place in Biral Bodhana. It is a part of Muzaffarnagar that most people do not really visit unless they happen to live here or work the land. Biralagro Bio Energy Farmer Producercompany Limited is quite a long name, but we are mostly just local folks thinking about energy and our farms. This area has a lot of agricultural waste and we figured we should do something with it. The roads out here can get a bit dusty in the summer and very muddy when it rains, but we are used to it. We spend most of our time trying to figure out the logistics of bio energy and how it fits with the crops we grow. It is not a big shiny factory or anything. It is more of a community effort. We sit around, look at the numbers, and try to keep everything running. Muzaffarnagar is known for its farming, so it makes sense to be rooted right here. We do not have any fancy receptionists or big glass windows. It is just a practical space where we can get together and handle the business side of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the phone lines act up, but we manage somehow. Being a farmer producer company means we are in this together. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields pays off for us.
