Zam Mistry Hub

If you go down to Masjid Bander, specifically around Dongri, you will find us. We are on Grant Road in the Nare area. It is one of the busiest parts of Mumbai. Our hub is all about fixing things and providing mistry services. The neighborhood is always alive with the sound of carts, bikes, and people shouting. It is a very old part of the city. Our workspace is packed with tools and spare parts. It is not a clean or quiet place. There is always some grease or dust around. We are right near the station, so the commute is easy but the crowd is constant. We deal with all sorts of repair requests. Some days we are swamped and others it is a bit more manageable. We do not use fancy software to track things; we mostly rely on our notes and memory. The building we are in has seen better days, but it is sturdy. We know the tea seller downstairs and the other shop owners on Grant Road. It is a tight-knit community of workers. We do not spend money on marketing. People come to us because we are right there in the hub. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of life. We just work with our hands and try to get things fixed for the people who need it. Most of the time, the humidity is high, making the work even more tiring, but that is just Mumbai for you.
