Z Services

You can find us over in Alkapuri, which is in Malad West. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for a while now. We call ourselves Z Services, and we basically handle whatever service jobs come our way. The office we have here is pretty basic. We’ve got a couple of desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and a lot of logbooks. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our customers are just people from around Malad who know us or heard about us from a friend. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or out visiting people at their homes or shops to fix things or get jobs started. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Some days the rain in Mumbai makes everything difficult, especially with travel, but we try to stick to our schedule as much as possible. Our staff is small, just a few guys who have been working together for years. We don't really use a lot of fancy technology; we prefer the old-fashioned way of just doing the work and making sure it's done right. The Alkapuri area is a good place to be because everything is close by. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It's a steady routine that suits us just fine. If the door is locked during the day, we are probably just out on a call and will be back soon.
