Running a pest control business out of Govandi Vasna 114 B means we spend a lot of our time out on the road. Our small office is where we keep all the spray tanks, chemicals, and safety gear for the crew. You can usually smell the faint scent of the treatments we use, even when the containers are sealed up tight in the back. We start the day very early, loading up the van with everything we need for the different houses or offices we have to visit. It’s messy work, crawling under kitchen sinks or checking dark corners for nests and bugs. We wear thick gloves and masks to stay safe while we work with the sprays. The area around Govandi is where we do most of our daily jobs, so we know the local buildings and streets pretty well. We don't have a big front desk or any sales people, it's just us doing the actual labor ourselves. People call us when they have a problem they can't handle with a store-bought can, like ants in the kitchen or termites eating the wood. We just show up, find the source of the trouble, and deal with it as quickly as possible. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat when the protective gear feels very heavy on your back. When we get back to the shop, we spend time cleaning the equipment and getting ready for the next morning. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
