Yadi Enterprise

Yadi Enterprise is located in Shop No 205 on Subhash Road, over in Brij Vihar, Malad East. It is a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and everything is moving fast. The shop is on the second floor, so you have to walk up the narrow stairs which can be a bit of a squeeze when people are coming down. Subhash Road is always packed with people, rickshaws, and delivery bikes, so it is never quiet. We have been here in Malad East for a few years now. The shop itself is packed with boxes from floor to ceiling. Sometimes we have to move three things just to find one item at the back. It gets quite humid in the afternoons, but the overhead fans help a bit. We keep a small television in the corner to catch the news or the cricket score when things are slow. Most of our day is spent talking to people who drop by or answering the phone that never seems to stop ringing. Brij Vihar is a busy complex with all sorts of small businesses crammed together. We know most of our neighbors, and we often help each other out when someone needs a change of currency or a stapler. It is a very local way of doing business. There isn't any fancy decor here, just metal shelves and a couple of plastic chairs for visitors. It is just a small, honest enterprise running in the heart of a very crowded suburb.
