Dot Uniforms

Dot Uniforms is a small shop, specifically Shop No. 7 in the Om Srushti Chs on Dumping Road in Mulund West. The name of the road sounds a bit strange if you aren't from around here, but it’s just where we are. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of fabric and the sound of sewing machines. It’s a lot of measuring and cutting. We make uniforms for different places, so there are always stacks of shirts or trousers waiting to be finished. The shop isn't huge, so things can feel a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders. We have a few tailors who have been with us for a while. Mulund West is a good area, and being in Om Srushti makes it easy for people to stop by. We don't do any big advertising. Usually, a parent or a worker comes in because they heard we do decent work. It’s a lot of thread on the floor and steam from the irons. We just try to get the sizing right and finish the batches on time. Sometimes people come in to browse the samples we have on the racks. It’s a straightforward business. No fancy mirrors or dressing rooms, just a place where clothes get made. We’ve been on Dumping Road for quite some time now, just stitching away every day.
