Weightronix Controls

Our place is at number 16 in the Hindustan Kohinoor Industrial Estate. It’s situated on LBS Marg in Vikhroli West, which anyone from Mumbai knows is a busy stretch of road. Working at Weightronix Controls means we are always surrounded by the sounds of the industrial estate—heavy gates clanking, engines idling, and people shouting to be heard over the noise. Our unit is packed with various components and control panels. There isn’t much room to walk around once we have a big project going on. We spend most of our time calibrating sensors or wiring up panels. The lighting isn’t the best, but we’ve got our own lamps for the fine work. It’s often dusty, and the fans just move the warm air around, but we are used to it. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch, and the estate gets quiet, which is a nice change from the daytime chaos. LBS Marg is always jammed, so we try to time our departures to avoid the worst of the evening rush. We aren't interested in looking polished; we just want the equipment to be accurate. We have a small corner for tea and snacks where we take our breaks. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of environment where we just get the job done. No big speeches, just everyday labor in a crowded Vikhroli workshop.
