Web Animation Studio

The Web Animation Studio is tucked away over on Kanankapura Road 14. This part of Chembur has its own rhythm, and we have fit right into it over the years. It is not one of those glass buildings you see in movies. It is a functional space where we spend a lot of time sitting in front of glowing screens. You can usually hear the sound of keyboards clicking throughout the day. We have various sketches pinned up on the walls, mostly just notes or rough ideas that someone did not want to throw away. The address at number 14 is easy enough to find once you know the landmarks nearby. We have a small area for eating lunch, though most of us just eat while watching videos. It is a bit of a creative mess sometimes, with hard drives and cables lying around on the desks. We do not really have a big formal lobby. If someone rings the bell, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It is a very relaxed atmosphere here at Chembur. We are not trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or expensive rugs. The focus is really just on the animation and making sure the files are saved correctly. It is a job like any other, but we get to see things move on the screen. It keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. Sometimes the rain hits the roof quite hard, but it’s a nice sound while we work.
