Our little shop is sitting at number 367 along Jss Road. We are directly across from Thakurdwar, right in the middle of the Chira Bazar and Kalbadevi area. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the street coming inside. We handle security stuff, mainly cameras and those digital locks for doors. The shop isn't much to look at since we use most of the space to store equipment and tools for our jobs. We don't have a big team or fancy uniforms. It is just a few of us who understand how to get these systems wired up correctly. We end up spending a lot of time on ladders or crawling under desks to hide cables. Most of our customers are local shop owners nearby who need an extra set of eyes on their front door. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years we have been here. Parking around Jss Road is always a mess, so we usually tell people to just walk over if they can. We don't use any complicated language or try to sell people things they don't actually need. If a camera works and shows a clear picture, that is good enough for us. We just try to do honest work and keep the gear running. We aren't always in the shop because we are often out on calls, but someone is usually around to help.
