You can find us at Shop No 1488, right near Gate No 6 in the Malwan area of Malad West. We’re across from the BMC hospital, so it’s easy to spot if you are looking for that landmark. This industrial suburb gets pretty dusty and noisy with all the traffic on the 3rd cross. We deal with various vehicles and parts every day. It’s a practical kind of business. The floor is usually a bit greasy from moving parts around, and we always have a radio playing in the background. Marappanapalya is a busy place to be. We’ve got a lot of regular mechanics and drivers who come by to see what we have in stock. It’s not a shiny showroom like the ones in the city center. It’s just a shop where we sell what people need for their cars or trucks. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back to find a specific part. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what’s wrong with their engines or what they are looking to buy. It’s honest work. My hands are usually dirty by noon. We open early because that’s when the drivers are out. If you need something for a vehicle, you just come in and ask. We don't use fancy computers for everything, a lot of it is just knowing what’s on the shelf by heart. It’s a bit cluttered in here, but we know where everything is kept even when it looks messy.
