Guru Kripa Auto Reparing

Shop No 9 in Parsi Baug is where we spend most of our lives. Guru Kripa Auto Reparing isn't a showroom, it’s a workshop with grease on the floor and tools everywhere. We’ve been fixing cars and bikes in Andheri East for a long time. It’s noisy because of the traffic and the sound of wrenches hitting metal, but it’s home to us. Most of the people who come here are neighbors or people who broke down nearby. We don’t have a waiting room with coffee. You usually just stand by the side while we look under the hood. We deal with engines, brakes, and all the usual stuff that goes wrong with vehicles on these roads. The dust and heat get to you sometimes, but seeing an engine start up after it’s been dead for a week feels good. We aren’t fancy people. We wear overalls that never really get clean and we talk plainly about what’s broken. If it can be fixed, we fix it. If it’s junk, we tell you that too. It’s a small shop, but we’ve got everything we need to get the job finished. Parsi Baug is a nice little spot, and being at Shop 9 means we see everyone coming and going. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever is on the lift today, trying to get people back on the road without any more trouble.
