If you've ever walked through Jamsh, you know how tight the lanes can get and how much noise there is all around. Our shop isn't very large, but we have enough room to get our work done. We deal with machinery and parts mostly. It’s the kind of place where you’ll probably find grease on the tables and a lot of metal components stacked up in the corners. We’ve been in Bhuleshwar for a while now because it’s where all the action is for this type of trade. It gets really hot in the afternoons, especially in a small shop like ours, but we just keep the fans running and stay busy. The neighbors are mostly other traders who have been here as long as we have. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of people who know how these machines work. People come in looking for specific parts or needing something fixed, and we see what we can do. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. It's practical and down-to-earth. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty because that doesn't help the machines run any better. We just focus on the task at hand.
