Vine Novelty & Gift Centre

Our little shop is tucked away on First Cross in Gandhinagar, Malad East. It’s one of those spots you might miss if you are walking too fast. We have been here for a while now, selling all sorts of small things like hair clips, greeting cards, and plastic toys. The space is quite narrow, so we have to stack things all the way up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. Most of our day is spent rearranging the stock so the newer items are at the front. We get a lot of school kids stopping by on their way home to see if we have any new stickers or pens. Malad East is always busy, so there is constant noise from the street outside. We don't have a fancy display window, just some items hanging near the door to show what we have. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the back corner during monsoon, so we have to move the cardboard boxes around. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop. We don’t do any big advertising; people just know we are here. We keep the prices fair because we know everyone around here. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with wrapping paper scraps on the floor, but we try to keep it decent. We like being part of this local street.
