Christmas Gift Box

We are tucked away at No. 129 in the Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West. It’s right behind the Sai Baba Temple. The compound has a lot of history to it. We handle all sorts of gift boxes here. Usually, the place is a bit of a mess with ribbons, paper, and cardboard everywhere. It’s a busy workshop, especially when the holidays are coming up. We don’t have a fancy storefront. Most people find us by walking through the compound past the temple. You can hear the temple bells from our door. It’s a nice sound to have in the background while we work. We spend hours folding boxes and making sure everything looks okay. It’s hands-on work. We don't use big machines for everything; a lot of it is done by hand. The air in Malad can be a bit humid, but we keep the fans going. We’ve got a couple of regular helpers who come in when we have big orders. We don’t do much advertising. People just seem to find us or hear about us from others. It’s a simple business. We just like making sure the boxes are ready to go. The compound can be a bit dark at night, but we know our way around. We keep a stash of biscuits for when we get hungry in the late afternoon. It’s not much, but it’s our corner of the city.
