Our place is in the C Wing of Angelina, right off Sarojni Road in Vile Parle West. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets around here. Finding a parking spot for a delivery truck is a daily struggle. We deal with chemicals, so we have to be pretty organized with our records. The office is small but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. Most of the day is spent coordinating with people across the city. We hear the trains in the distance and the traffic never really stops. It’s a very urban setup. We aren't a huge factory, just a focused operation running out of a commercial wing. Some days the air conditioning struggles with the heat, but we just keep the door open. We’ve got stacks of catalogs and old invoices everywhere. It’s not a showroom, it’s a working office. We have a lot of conversations about shipping dates and stock levels. Sometimes we lose a pen or a stapler under a pile of papers, but we find it eventually. Vile Parle is a good spot to be, even if the commute is tough. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us. We just handle the orders as they come in and try to stay on top of the logistics. It's a simple business, really. We just show up and do the work and then head home when it's done.
