Agarwal Traders

Agarwal Traders is based in Kandivali West, specifically over in the Khokhara Mehmadabad 4 area. We have been working out of this small space for a long time and it is filled to the ceiling with all kinds of stuff. It is a trading business, so we are always buying and selling whatever we can move. The streets around here are quite narrow and it can be a nightmare when a delivery truck tries to get through. We spend a lot of our time counting items and writing down numbers in our big registers. My father and I run things together, and we often argue about where to put the new stock. The place is a bit messy and we have piles of sacks and boxes in every corner. We don't have a fancy website or any of that modern stuff. People just know we are here and they come by when they need something. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. The afternoons can be slow when it is hot outside, so we just sit near the fan and wait for the evening rush. It is a simple way of life and we aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our trade and go home to our families at night. It is just how we do things.
