Living and working near Film City Road in Goregaon East means there is never a dull moment. My place is 402 in the Harmony building. It’s a good spot, though the traffic on the main road can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. I’ve been Vikram to everyone around here for years. I didn't want a long commute, so I set up my workspace right here in the apartment. It’s practical. I have my desk by the window where I can see the constant stream of cars heading toward the studios. Mumbai is a city that never stops, and Goregaon is right in the middle of that energy. My setup is pretty basic. I don’t have a big board with a company name or anything. Most people who need to find me already have my number. I spend a lot of my time on the computer or on calls, making sure things move along as they should. It gets a bit crowded with all the files sometimes, but I know where everything is. I don’t go for all that corporate polish. I’d rather just be honest about what I can do and get it done. The building itself is decent, and the neighbors are used to me being around all day. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, balancing home life with work in the same four walls, but I’ve gotten the hang of it over time. I’ve thought about getting a proper office, but then I think about the extra rent and I decide to stay put.
