I’m Vikasasrani, and I run my business from B-403 in the Swami Jairamdas Society. We are right on R.C. Marg, not too far from the Chembur Police Station. If you know Mumbai, you know Chembur is a busy, crowded place, but it has a good heart. I’ve been in this building for quite some time. It’s a regular residential society, so it doesn't feel like a cold office building. You hear the neighbors and the traffic from the police station nearby. I started doing this because I wanted to work for myself and this was the space I had. It’s just me and a small desk in the corner of the room. I don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of employees. Most of my day is spent answering calls and keeping my papers organized. Mumbai is a fast city, but I try to keep things at a steady pace here. I’ve lived in this area long enough to know the best tea stalls and the shortcuts to avoid the R.C. Marg traffic. It’s a simple life. I don't try to pretend to be a big company. I’m just a person working from home, trying to do a decent job. People know where to find me if they need something. That’s how it works here, no frills or special treatments, just real work that needs to get done.
