Vijoy Velloth

Vijoy Velloth’s place is up in the Godrej Hill Side Colony on LBS Road in Vikhroli West. It’s a bit different than the busier parts of the city because there’s actually a bit of greenery around here. Being in E-Io/12 means we’re part of a residential kind of environment, so it feels a lot more personal. We don’t have a big lobby or a security gate just for us. It’s just a regular spot where the work gets handled. The colony is pretty quiet, which helps when we have a lot to get through in a day. We’ve been operating from here for some time now. Most of our day is spent at the desk, looking at the computer or talking on the phone. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a room with what we need. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and you can hear the birds in the trees, which is nice for a change in Mumbai. We try to keep things simple and direct. If there’s work to be done, we do it without much talk. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. People come to us because they know where we are and that we’re reliable in our own way. It’s a small operation, and that’s how we like it. It keeps things manageable and honest.
