Vijay Fire Vehicles And Pumps Ltd

We have been working out of Plot No. 35 on Chandivali B T Kawade Road in Andheri East for a while now. The workshop stays pretty busy most days because building fire vehicles and specialized pumps isn't exactly a quick job. You can usually find a few of us out back near the assembly area where it gets quite loud with the welding and the metalwork. It is a bit dusty sometimes, especially when the wind kicks up off the road, but that is just part of the daily routine here. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and making sure the pumps actually fit where they are supposed to on the truck chassis. It’s not always pretty work and our overalls are usually covered in grease by noon, but we get things done. Some of the guys have been here since the beginning and they know every corner of this plot. If you are looking for the office, you have to navigate around the half-finished trucks parked in the yard. Sometimes the traffic on B T Kawade Road makes deliveries a bit of a nightmare, but we manage. We aren’t a fancy corporate setup with glass walls; it’s more about the smell of diesel and the sound of power tools. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things moving so we can get the vehicles out to where they need to go for actual use.
