Vignan Electronics Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away on the second floor of the Marol Nanddhan Industrial Estate. Specifically, we’re at F-36. The estate is right on Marol - Maroshi Road in Andheri East. It’s a typical Mumbai industrial spot—cramped, busy, and always full of people moving things around. To get to our floor, you have to navigate some narrow hallways that always seem to have a few boxes sitting in them. Inside, the space is filled with workbenches and soldering stations. We deal with a lot of small components, so the lighting has to be good, even if the rest of the office looks a bit dated. The floor is that old speckled tile, and we have a few fans that rattle when they’re on high. It’s not a quiet place, especially with the traffic noise from the road outside leaking in through the windows. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep things moving. Lunch usually involves someone going down to the local stalls to pick up vada pav or whatever else is quick. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the other shop owners in the building. It’s a community of sorts. We just focus on the electronics and try to keep up with the orders that come through. It’s a very grounded way to work, without any pretense or fancy corporate rules that get in the way.
