Veritek Engineering

Working out of the Ansa Inds. Estate in Sakinaka is always an experience. Our unit, E-12, is right in the heart of the industrial bustle of Andheri East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how cramped and busy it can get. Veritek Engineering has been here for years, and we’ve seen the estate change quite a bit. Inside our space, it’s all about the engineering work. We have rows of equipment and benches where the magic happens, though it looks more like a mess of wires and metal to anyone else. We don’t have much space for a big office, so the desks are squeezed in wherever they fit. The noise of the city and the other units in the estate is just the background music to our day. We usually get in early to beat the worst of the traffic, and we often stay late finishing up whatever is on the bench. It’s a lot of manual work and testing. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress people with fancy titles. We are just a group of people who enjoy figuring out how things work and making sure they are built right. Sometimes the rain makes the commute a nightmare, but we always make it in somehow. It’s just how things are here. We focus on the daily tasks, deal with the suppliers, and keep the wheels turning as best as we can without making a fuss.
