Venus Mobile Sales & Service

If you walk down Gurunanak Road in Nutan Nagar, you’ll find us easily enough. We are in Bandra West, right at number 24. This area is always moving. Venus Mobile Sales & Service has been a part of this street for a long time. We do sales, sure, but the service part is what keeps us really busy. People drop their phones all the time. We see cracked screens every single hour. It’s a lot of sitting under bright lights with small screwdrivers. Bandra is a fast place, everyone wants their phone back in ten minutes, but hardware doesn't always work that way. We try to be honest about how long a repair will actually take. Sometimes the shop gets dusty because of the road work outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass displays. We carry some of the newer brands and the older ones too. It is a local business, so we know many of the faces that walk in. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge or anything like that. There’s just a stool or two and the counter. We talk to the neighbors, drink some chai, and keep working on whatever device is on the bench. It’s a decent living. We just keep our heads down and handle the work as it comes in. No big fuss about it. We’ve been here so long we feel like part of the pavement itself.
