My desk is usually covered in parts and cables. We’ve been here at Mahakali Dham in Mulund East for a good while now. It’s not fancy, just a room on the fourth floor where we look at screens and fix things that stop working. People from around Vidhalaya Road drop by when their laptops start acting up or they need a specific part. It gets busy, and sometimes the coffee goes cold because someone brought in a machine that just won't boot up. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It's just us working through the day. The fans in the computers make a constant humming sound that we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We keep a few spare chairs for customers, but they usually end up holding boxes of hardware instead. Sometimes the rains make the commute to the shop a bit of a mess, but we're usually here by mid-morning. We keep a lot of old components in the back just in case someone needs a specific screw or an old cable that nobody makes anymore. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The building stays quiet mostly. Most folks find us because their cousin told them we helped out before. We just try to get the job done so you can go back to whatever you were doing.
