Our office is in Lower Parel, which is one of the busiest parts of Mumbai. We are located in the Marathon Futurex building, specifically at A-3118. It’s part of the Mafatlal Mills Compound on N.M. Joshi Marg. Being on the 31st floor means we are high above the noise of the street, which is a relief. Velvet Rope Digital Communities Llp might sound like a big name, but we are actually a small, tight-knit group. The office is modern because of the building, but we haven't done much to the interior. We have our computers, some comfortable chairs, and a small area where we keep our bags and lunch. We don't have any corporate protocols or strict hierarchies here. If something needs to be done, someone just does it. The commute to Lower Parel can be tough, whether you take the train to Currey Road or drive through the traffic, but we are all used to it by now. We don't have a fancy reception area with a logo on the wall. We just have a door that stays closed while we work. We aren't into making big promises or using marketing speak. We just focus on the digital work we have in front of us. It’s a lot of hours at the screen, and we try to keep things friendly and light in the office to make the time go by.
