We operate out of a few combined shop spaces, numbers 29 to 31, in Valibhai Hai in Kurla West. You can find us right behind the SBI Bank, which is a good landmark if you’re lost. This place is usually full of goods and crates since we handle a lot of wholesale trading. It’s not a fancy office at all; there are bags stacked high and the floor is concrete. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to truck drivers who are bringing in new stock. It’s dusty and noisy because of the Kurla traffic and the busy market area nearby. We’ve been around for many years, following in the footsteps of the family who started it. There’s always someone running around with a clipboard or a delivery note. We don’t have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that squeak a bit. Sometimes the paperwork gets mixed up on the desk, but we find it eventually. It’s a busy environment and we don’t have time for anything too polished. People come to us because they know we have what they need in bulk. We stay open late most days to make sure the last truck is loaded properly. It’s a lot of physical work and counting items over and over. We know the shortcuts around the back lanes to avoid the worst of the congestion. It is just a normal day of loading and unloading.
