Our office is right across from the D.B. Marg Police Station. If you know Lamington Road at all, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people looking for electronic parts. We are up on the first floor of Ganesh Bhavan at number 22/23. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we handle all the Vegakit business. Usually, there are cardboard boxes stacked in the hallway because we get deliveries almost every single day. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic and horns outside, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been here for a long time, and the neighborhood hasn't changed much, just more cars and motorbikes than before. Most of us take the train and walk from the station because it’s much easier than trying to park a vehicle around here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through inventory lists. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work right, so we end up taking the stairs quite a lot. It’s good exercise, I guess. We try to keep things moving so customers get what they need without waiting too long. It’s just a regular workplace where everyone knows their job and does it. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the daily orders. Nothing too fancy, just a solid place to work near the heart of the electronics market. We keep a few chairs for visitors, but mostly it's just us working through the piles of paper and electronic components. It's a busy life.
