Vee Line Jewels & Watches Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Vekay Diamoants at 216 Prasad Chambers in the Opera House area. This building is an old landmark, and we’ve seen it through all sorts of changes over the years. Our space is filled with the sound of ticking and the constant clicking of small tools. We deal with both jewelry and watches, so there’s always something delicate on the workbench that needs a steady hand. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in here with all the inventory and the equipment, but we’ve organized it in a way that works for us. We aren't big on fancy marketing or showing off. We just sit here and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes a customer comes in with an old watch that hasn't worked in decades, and other times we’re just sorting through stones for a new piece. The light in the office is very bright so we can see the tiny details, which makes it feel a bit like a laboratory sometimes. Outside in the hallway, there’s always the sound of people talking and doors opening and closing. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve carved out our own little rhythm inside these walls. We don’t have a grand entrance or a receptionist, just a doorbell and a lot of work waiting on the tables. It is a simple life for us here in Prasad Chambers.
