We’ve been located at 8 Kalbadevi on the first floor for many years now. Our place is directly opposite the Swadeshi Market, which is always packed with people and goods moving around at all hours. It’s a very traditional part of the city, and our business reflects that style. The stairs leading up to our office are a bit narrow and worn down from all the years of people coming and going. Inside, you’ll find piles of ledgers and documents because we still like to keep physical records of most things we do. We aren't really into new gadgets or fancy decor. The wooden desks are old, and the ceiling fan makes a rhythmic clicking sound that we don’t even notice anymore after all this time. It’s a family-run operation, and we take our time with the work to make sure it’s done right before we sign off. Most of our clients are people whose fathers did business with our fathers. There’s a lot of history in these walls and the furniture. We open the windows to let some air in, though it brings in the constant noise of the market below. It’s a busy environment, but inside our office, things move at a steady, predictable pace that suits us. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the business inside out. It’s simple, honest work that has kept us going through all the changes in the neighborhood over the decades.
