Freelancer

I work out of A-101 in Kusum Apartment, which is located in Sector 17 of Vashi. It is a residential area but very close to all the main markets and the station. Working as a freelancer means my home and my office are basically the same place. I have a small desk set up in the corner where I spend most of my hours. Sector 17 is quite a busy part of Vashi, so there is always some noise from the street below, but Kusum Apartment is tucked away enough that it doesn't get too loud. I spend a lot of time on my computer, sometimes late into the night. There isn't a team here, just me handling whatever projects come my way. I take my own breaks and make my own tea. Some people think it's lonely but I've gotten used to it over the years. I don't have any big signs outside or a fancy entrance. It's just a regular flat where I do my work. Sometimes I walk down to the local shops if I need a break from the screen. Vashi is a good place to be because everything is so accessible. My neighbors know I work from home, so they see me coming and going at odd hours. It is a simple life and I like the flexibility of it. I don't have to deal with a commute, which is the best part of being here. It is just me and my work.
