You'll find our garage at Krishna Bhuvan, number 17 on Sainath Road in Malad West. We are right by Morarji Chowk, and the Telephone Exchange is another good landmark nearby. The garage is usually full of half-repaired cars and tools scattered across the workbenches. It’s a greasy environment, but that’s how a real garage should be. We spend our time under hoods or crawling under chassis to find out what that knocking sound is. Our hands are rarely clean, and there is always a puddle of oil somewhere that needs soaking up. We don't have a fancy reception desk; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently under a car. The traffic on Sainath Road can be quite heavy, so there is always a lot of noise from outside mixing with our own engine sounds. We've been fixing cars in Malad for a long time now, so we've seen almost every problem you can imagine. It’s a simple business where we focus on getting the vehicles back on the road. We don't bother with shiny brochures or big promises. Most of our regulars are people from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially in the heat, but we like being part of the local community here near the exchange. Every car that leaves the garage represents a long day of work for us.
