V Express

You can find us in Building No 6, C Wing, on the ground floor in Lower Parel. We are over by Navrangpura, near the Dainik Shivner office. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the delivery vans are trying to find parking. V Express is basically a hub for moving stuff from one place to another. We have shelves lining the walls, and they are usually stuffed with boxes and envelopes of all sizes. The phone rings a lot, mostly people asking where their package is or if we can pick something up before five. It’s a bit of a workout, moving things around all day. We have a small desk near the door where we log everything in. It’s not a corporate office with carpets and glass walls; it’s more of a working garage feel. There’s always someone coming in or going out with a helmet under their arm. We’ve had a few rainy seasons where we had to scramble to keep the packages dry, so now we are very careful with the tarps. It’s a simple business of logistics and timing. We don't use fancy software for everything; sometimes a notebook and a pen are faster when things are moving quick. The neighborhood knows us as the guys who are always on the move. We try to keep things organized, but on Mondays, it’s a bit of a struggle to keep the floor clear from the weekend backlog.
