We are located on the first floor of Plot No 84, right in the middle of the Saidham Hutments near Elphinstone Road West on Fitwala Road. It’s a very crowded area and finding a place to park is almost impossible, so most of us just take the train. Being near the Saidham Mandir means there is always a lot of activity and the sound of bells and people passing by. Our office is small and every inch of space is used for something, whether it’s spare parts or old folders. It gets a bit cramped when we have more than a few people inside, but we make it work. The walls are painted a simple off-white that has faded over time. We handle a lot of different systems and services, so there is always a tool bag being packed or a technician heading out the door. It is a bit chaotic at times, especially when multiple things go wrong at once, but that is just the nature of the work. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. The windows don't let in much light because of the buildings nearby, so we have bright tube lights on all day. It isn't a glamorous Mumbai office you see in the movies. It is a real place where people work hard and try to keep things moving despite the heat and the noise of the city.
