Unique Medical Appliances is located right at No. 8, Raghuvanshwadi. If you are near the Mahambre Hospital on S. V. Road in Dahisar East, you’ve probably walked right past us. Being so close to the hospital makes sense for what we do, which is supplying medical appliances. We get all sorts of people coming in, from doctors to families looking for something specific for a relative at home. It can be a bit heavy at times, seeing people going through health stuff, so we try to be as straightforward and helpful as we can. We don't have a big sales pitch. We just show you what’s in stock and explain how it works in plain English. The shop isn't very large, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves. S. V. Road is always noisy with cars and buses, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. We spend a lot of our time checking over the equipment to make sure nothing is broken or missing a part. It’s important to get the details right when it comes to medical gear. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local doctors know our names. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We’re just here to provide the tools people need to get better or stay comfortable. It’s a small, honest operation and we like it that way in the community.
