Our office is tucked away in Kurla West, on New Hall Road. We are on the third floor of the Sheetal Chandrika Co-op Housing Society. It’s a residential building, so it feels very much like a part of the local community. We have been here at 17/3 for quite a while now. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of books and old computers lying around, but we know where everything is. Kurla is always moving, and you can hear the traffic from the road if the windows are open. We usually keep them shut because of the noise and the heat. There’s a small kitchen area where we make tea or heat up our lunch boxes. Most of us take the train to Kurla station and then walk or take a rickshaw here. It’s not a corporate park with security guards and badges; you just walk up the stairs. We spend most of our time answering emails and working on various software tasks. Sometimes the neighbors from the other flats pop in to borrow something or just chat. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just do our work, talk to our customers, and try to stay on top of our deadlines. It’s an honest day’s work in a busy part of Mumbai.
