If you find yourself in Kanjurmarg East, you’ll probably see the Devidayal Complex. That’s where Tyresoles India Pvt Ltd is located, right across from the Mahalaxmi Hotel. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows that hotel. Our place is usually pretty busy since we deal with retreading and fixing up tires. The air always smells a bit like rubber and grease, which is something you just get used to after a few days on the job. We have been here for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it serves us well. We aren’t really into the whole modern office look. We have some old desks, a few sturdy chairs, and the machinery takes up most of the space anyway. Customers come in and out, mostly truck drivers or people with commercial vehicles who need to get back on the road without spending a fortune on brand new tires. We talk to them, figure out what they need, and get the work started. It’s physical work and your hands stay dirty most of the shift. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years and they know the machines inside out. It's a simple life, really. We open the shutters in the morning, do the work, and close them when the sun goes down. It's just how it goes here every day.
