Tyre Seva

If you find yourself on SV Road in Malad West, you might see us right across from the State Bank of India. That is where Tyre Seva is located. We have been at this spot for a good while, and it’s a very busy place to be. There is always a constant stream of traffic moving past our door. Our work is pretty simple but it keeps us on our feet all day. We deal with all kinds of tyres, fixing flats, balancing wheels, and putting on new sets when the old ones get too thin. The ground is usually covered in black dust from the rubber and there are stacks of tyres piled up in the corners. It’s not the cleanest job, but we don’t mind getting our hands dirty. We have a few heavy jacks and air compressors that make a lot of noise when they are running. Most of our customers are people from the local area who are just passing through and noticed a problem with their car or scooter. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. The heat can get pretty bad during the summer months since we are right out by the road, but we just keep working through it. It’s a practical business and we just focus on getting people back on the road safely. We see everything from brand new sedans to old delivery vans that have seen better days.
