Tyke Technologies Private Limited is right in the thick of things in Kalbadevi. Our office is on the fifth floor of building 3A in Jayhind Estate. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded and busy Dr. Atmaram Merchant Road can get. There’s always the sound of horns and people shouting down below in the Bhuleshwar area. Our office is a bit of a climb because the elevator is quite old and we don't always trust it to work perfectly. The space inside is functional and a bit cramped. We have several desks pushed against the walls to make the most of the room we have. It’s an old building, so the ceilings are high and the windows are large, which lets in some air when we open them. We do all our tech work from here, surrounded by stacks of paper and various pieces of hardware. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there’s always a lot of energy around. We often go down to the local stalls for snacks in the afternoon. It’s not a fancy office with a reception desk or a waiting area. You just walk in and see everyone working. We have a few fans that hum constantly to keep the air moving in the heat. It’s a practical place to be based, especially since everything we need is within walking distance in the market. We just keep doing our work every day.
