We are located right in the middle of the Ansa Industrial Estate in Malad West. It’s not the kind of place you come for a scenic view. There are factories and warehouses all around us. In the mornings, you can hear the trucks backing up and the sound of machinery starting up for the shift. We open up early because the workers are already out and about looking for tea or a quick bite. The air in Malad 400064 can be a bit dusty with all the construction and industrial work, but we keep the doors mostly shut. Our space is functional. We have benches that are easy to clean and a kitchen that stays busy from sunrise. We don't have a menu with a hundred items; we just make what we know people like to eat during their break. Sometimes it gets so crowded at noon that people have to stand outside and wait. We try to be fast because most of our customers only have half an hour before they have to get back to the floor. It’s a simple operation. We buy our supplies from the local market nearby every couple of days. The staff here has been with us for a while, so we all know the routine. It’s a bit of a grind, but that’s the nature of being in an industrial estate where everyone is working hard. We don't have fancy stuff here, just plain walls and a solid floor that can handle the heavy boots and the constant movement of a busy workday.
