We are located at 154 Shamaldas Gandhi Marg. It’s an old building with high ceilings and those thick walls that keep the heat out a little bit in the summer. We’ve been here for a long time, and the place has a lot of character, even if the floorboards creak a bit when you walk on them. We mostly handle administrative work and coordination from this office. There are stacks of files everywhere because we haven't quite moved everything over to the computers yet. It’s a bit of a maze of desks and cabinets. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, and we spend a lot of time watching the people walk by or listening to the vendors shouting. The name of the company is a bit of a mouthful, so most of us just call it "the office" when we’re talking to our friends. We usually have tea together in the afternoon, which is a nice break from looking at spreadsheets and ledgers. It’s not a high-pressure environment with people in suits, just a group of us trying to keep things running smoothly. We’ve got our own way of doing things, and it seems to work for us. When the day ends, we lock the big heavy doors and head home, ready to do it all again tomorrow. The street noise becomes a comfort after you’ve sat here as long as we have.
