Trichem Laboratories (Bombay) Pvt Ltd has been operating out of 340/42 Samuel Street for a long time. We are up on the 4th floor, which is a bit of a climb, but we’re used to it. Samuel Street is one of those old, narrow streets in Bombay where there’s always something happening. It can be a real challenge getting things up and down the stairs, but that’s just part of being in this building. Our lab space is where we spend almost all our time. It’s full of equipment and bottles and the smell of various chemicals. We aren't into fancy decor or anything like that. The floors are old, and the walls have seen a lot of years. We just focus on the work we have to do each day. The team here is small, and we mostly keep to ourselves. Sometimes the 4th floor gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have some old fans that keep the air moving. People who visit us for the first time sometimes get a bit lost in the hallways, but once you find us, we’re usually just busy at the benches. It’s a quiet place compared to the noise down on the street. We’ve been here so long it feels like home. It’s just a lab on an old street doing its thing, day in and day out, without any unnecessary fuss.
