Perfect Powder Coaters

We operate out of two units, 90 and 20, over in the Gilbert Compound. It’s right on Kherani Road in Sakinaka, specifically the lane opposite the church. If you know Andheri East, you know it can get pretty crowded around here. The shop is always a bit colorful because of all the powder coating we do. There’s usually a fine layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. The ovens are running most of the day, so it gets quite warm inside the units. We spend our time hanging parts, spraying them, and then making sure they bake right. It’s repetitive work, but we’ve gotten a good rhythm down. We don’t have a big front office; we usually just talk to customers right there in the compound. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but we keep the work moving. Most of the guys have been doing this for a long time and can tell if a finish is right just by looking at it. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just take metal parts and put a coat on them so they look okay and don't rust. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just try to get the pieces out on time so nobody is waiting too long. It’s just the way things are here and we are used to it.
