Our little shop is tucked away behind the Mexus Cinema. It is actually twice as hard to find because the address says behind the cinema twice, which is just how the paperwork ended up. We are at number 01. It is a small room filled with old monitors, tangled cables, and parts of laptops that we are working on. We spend a lot of time squinting at motherboards and trying to get machines to turn back on. It’s not a shiny showroom. There’s usually some dust and a few half-empty tea cups around the workbench. We deal with people who have broken screens or slow computers that just won’t behave. Sometimes we sell a mouse or a keyboard if someone needs one urgently. It gets a bit cramped when more than two customers come in at once. We started this because we liked taking things apart and seeing how they work. Now it’s just our daily job. Most of our day is spent listening to the hum of cooling fans and clicking away at keyboards. It is quiet for the most part, except for when the movies are playing next door and you can hear a bit of the bass. We just stay here and fix what we can, one machine at a time. It’s a practical spot for anyone in the area who doesn’t want to go all the way to a big mall. We’re just here doing our thing and trying to be helpful.
