Toshima & Tomita Travels

We are located up on the 18th floor of the Yucca Building here in Andheri East. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with that Dmart nearby where everyone is always rushing around. My partner and I started this travel place because we both liked seeing different parts of the country and figured we could help others do the same. Toshima & Tomita Travels isn’t a huge office with fancy carpets or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we spend our days looking at flights and train schedules. Some days the phones don’t stop ringing and other days it’s quiet enough to actually finish a cup of tea. We handle the paperwork and the bookings so people don't have to deal with the websites themselves. Being in Nahar Am means we get a lot of locals dropping in after they finish their grocery shopping. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the changes in travel rules, but we just get on with it. People come to us when they want to visit family or just take a break from the heat. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few desks and some maps on the wall. It gets the job done and we like being part of this neighborhood. Sometimes the lift in the building takes forever, but that's just life in Mumbai and you get used to it after a while.
