Tml Business Analytics Services Limited is situated in the heart of Mumbai’s old business district, Fort. We occupy floors 3 and 4 of Nanavati Mahalaya on Mudhana Shetty Marg, right near the BSE building. It is an old building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are not used to them. Being in Fort means there is always a lot of energy outside, with people rushing everywhere and the sounds of the city constantly coming through the windows. Inside, we have a lot of desks set up for data and analytics work. It is not a modern glass tower, but it has high ceilings and a certain charm. We spend our days looking at numbers and reports. The space is spread across two floors, so there is a bit of walking up and down throughout the day. We get our tea from the local vendors on the street. It is the best way to stay awake during the afternoon slump. Working so close to the stock exchange feels appropriate for what we do. The office is often messy with files and old documents, but we manage to find what we need. It is a busy, cramped, and lively place to work. We do not have any fancy lounge areas or ping pong tables. We just have our computers and our data. That is the reality of working at Tml in Mumbai.
