We’ve been here at Meena Apartments for a good while now. Being on Dhanji Street means there is always noise and people moving around outside. Zaveri Bazar isn't exactly a quiet place to work, but it’s where everyone in the trade is, so we stay put. Our office isn't much to look at, just a regular space where we get the daily work done. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting at the back desk checking through papers or talking to someone who stopped by. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks who come here have known us for years or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a lot of sitting, talking, and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice before we even notice how late it’s gotten. We handle the usual stuff you’d expect from a business in this part of town. It gets dusty, and the stairs are a bit steep, but we are used to it by now. We just open up in the morning, see who needs help, and try to keep things moving. There isn't any grand plan here, just the daily routine of running a shop in a busy market. If you’re walking through the bazaar, you might miss the entrance if you aren't looking, but we’re always inside doing something.
