Think Travel Solutions is based in Andheri West, which is always a bit of a circus with the crowds and the traffic. We are in Wing A of DLF Metro View, room 301, right on Pt JP Road. It is a handy location if you are using the metro, which most of us do to avoid the cars. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have got computers, phones, and a lot of maps or travel schedules usually visible on someone’s screen. We do not spend money on expensive art for the walls or high-end furniture. We would rather just have good chairs since we sit a lot. The workday usually starts with a lot of noise and stays that way until evening. People are always calling or messaging about something. It is a busy life in the travel business, but it keeps us on our toes. We do not use scripts when we talk to people. We just tell them what we know. Sometimes we have to deal with delays or changes, and we just handle them as they come. It is not a perfect system, but we try our best to keep things moving. Mumbai is a tough city, so you have to be practical. We have been at this for a while and we know the ropes. No big secrets, just a lot of coordination and checking the details. We just want to get people where they need to go.
