The Traditions

The Traditions is up on the 17th floor of the Onyx Building, in units 1703 and 1704. We are located in Mulund West, which is a busy area, but being up so high makes it a bit quieter than the street level. Our space is where we handle all the day-to-day business related to what we do. It’s not a typical street-side storefront. You have to take the lift up, which some people find a bit different, but it works for us. We have a lot of items related to traditions and local culture kept here. The rooms are often filled with fabrics or various goods that we are sorting through. It’s a practical environment. We have desks, some storage racks, and usually a few cups of tea sitting around while we work. Mulund West is a good place to be based, even if we are tucked away in a tall building like Onyx. We don’t really go in for big displays or shiny marketing. Most of our visitors are people who already know about us or have an appointment. It’s a bit more private than a regular shop. We just focus on keeping things organized and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place people go for traditional goods. We just like doing things the right way, even if we are hidden away. We've been here a few years now.
