The Jade Garden

We are tucked away at number 77 in the Maker Arcade over in Cuffe Parade. It’s an older building but it has a lot of character, and we’ve been part of it for a good while. The Jade Garden isn't a massive place, but we have made it comfortable enough for anyone who drops by to see us. Being in Cuffe Parade means we see a lot of the same faces every week, which is something we really enjoy. The arcade can get quite busy during the lunch hour when people are out and about looking for something to do. We spend our time organizing the stock and talking to people who come in looking for something unique for their homes. It’s not always easy keeping everything in order, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have boxes everywhere on the floor. We try to keep things simple and friendly. If someone wants to just look around for a while, that’s fine with us. We aren't the type to follow people around the shop or pressure them. The lighting inside could be better, but we make do with what we have for now. It feels like a little community inside the arcade, with all the different shop owners knowing each other. We take our work seriously but we don’t feel the need to be overly formal. It’s just us here, doing what we do best and making sure the shop stays running smoothly for the next person who walks in.
