The Gift Shore

We are based right here in Mumbai. It’s a big city, but we feel like a small part of it. Our days are spent looking for interesting things that people might want to give to someone else. It could be anything from a small trinket to something a bit more substantial. We don't have a specific niche; we just like things that feel a bit special. The office is usually cluttered with packing peanuts and cardboard boxes. We do a lot of shipping out to different parts of the city. Mumbai is always moving, and we are trying to keep up with that pace. Some days the traffic makes deliveries a nightmare, but we've learned to deal with it. We aren't some giant corporation with a huge warehouse. We are just a small team of people who like the idea of sending a bit of joy through the mail. We don't spend money on big ads. We just hope people like what we find. The humidity here can be a bit much, especially when we are trying to keep the paper products crisp. We’ve got a couple of fans going all day. It’s a simple business model. We find things, we pack them, and we send them out. It keeps us out of trouble and pays the bills. We're just trying to make a living doing something that doesn't feel like a chore every single morning.
